Bri joined Grossman St. Amour CPAs in July 2020. She is a Supervisor in the Audit Services Group and a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York.
Bri practices in the areas of audit and attest engagements and financial statement preparation. She works with not-for-profit organizations including fire districts, public school districts, and government and municipalities.
Bri completed the Grossman St. Amour CPAs Student Internship Program in our Audit and Tax Services Groups. She was a member of Beta Alpha Psi and a Volunteer Income Tax Preparer for VITA.

What nugget of wisdom would you offer aspiring accountants?
Get as involved as you can. Every club, volunteer service opportunity, and internship expands upon your knowledge of accounting and/or professional skills. The experiences are so much more than a resume builder. You are able to network, make connections, and build upon your classroom education.
What drew you to accounting?
I have always loved working with numbers. My mom is a math teacher so I think numbers are in my blood.
Who is (or was) the most influential person in your life?
My mom is by far the strongest and most positive person I know. She taught me how to get the most out of every moment in life and always find the silver lining. She inspires me every day to be the best version of myself and to never stop learning.
What is your favorite quote?
“Great moments are born from great opportunity, and that’s what you have here tonight, boys. That’s what you’ve earned here tonight… This is your time. Now go out there and take it!”
This is part of the speech that Herb Brooks delivered to the 1980 Men’s US Olympic hockey team. I think it really embodies taking charge of your life. I truly believe that if you take responsibility for your own circumstances, you can accomplish anything.
What’s it like working for a firm that has been around so long?
It’s really fantastic. Everyone has a different level of experience and a different niche that they specialize in. It’s also nice to know that even partners once started as interns, and their doors are always open to answer questions.
How do you relax when not working?
Trying new restaurants with friends.
Favorite vacation?
I went on a two week tour of the South Pacific including New Zealand, Australia, and Fiji!
