STOCK THE PANTRY CHALLENGE

October 1, 2017-Syracuse, NY

Syracuse Northeast Community Center was the recipient of over two tons of food and hygiene products from two local accounting firms!

For the second year, Grossman St. Amour CPAs PLLC and Dannible & McKee LLP, teamed up for a friendly competition to see who could collect the most food and hygiene products for the SNCC pantry.

Grossman St. Amour CPAs holds the 2016 title, but this year, Dannible & McKee outdid themselves by collecting over 3,000 pounds!  Together, the firms collected 4,258 pounds of food and hygiene products. This was a huge increase from 2016 of 2,785 pounds.

Our firm was thrilled to take part in this event again this year. We hope that there is less need next year, but stand ready and willing to serve!  Our firm-wide commitment to community service can be seen in our efforts, and the competitive edge helped to make this challenge a huge success!  Congratulations to Dannible & McKee!” said Linda Gabor, Partner, Grossman St. Amour CPAs.

We would like to thank Michael Collins and his team at SNCC for coordinating this event.   We also thank the following local organizations for stepping up to contribute by holding their own in-house food drives.   4,258 pounds could not be achieved without their help!
