Adam L. Kroft, CPA to Senior Tax Manager. Adam joined the accounting firm in 2017. He practices in the areas of income tax preparation, payroll and sales tax return preparation, and bookkeeping. His industry areas of expertise include manufacturing and retail distribution, rental real estate, physicians and medical practices, and various other industries. He is a graduate of SUNY Buffalo with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, and a Master in Business Administration in Public Accounting from SUNY Oswego.
James F. Sikora, II, CPA to Senior Tax Manager. Jim joined the accounting firm in 2023. He practices in the areas of tax return preparation and tax planning for individuals, partnerships and corporations. His experience includes financial statement preparation and payroll and sales tax return preparation for various industries. He provides general accounting support including QuickBooks online setup and training. He also responds to inquiries from the IRS and state taxing authorities. Jim’s clients include agribusiness, construction contractors, real estate, healthcare, and manufacturing and retail distribution. He is a graduate of Le Moyne College with a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Business Administration. Jim is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Caroline E. Heaviside, CPA to Audit Manager. Caroline joined the accounting firm in 2019. She practices in the areas of audit and attest engagements and financial statement preparation. Her industry areas of expertise include not-for-profit entities, affordable housing, public school districts, and commercial entities. Caroline is a graduate of Le Moyne College Madden School of Business with a Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science in Accounting, and an Associates in Arts General Studies from Onondaga Community College. She a board member and treasurer of a Tiny Home for Good.
Gianna F. Crooks, CPA to Tax Manager. Gianna joined the accounting firm in 2016. Her areas of practice include financial statement preparation, income tax return preparation, payroll and sales tax return preparation, and bookkeeping. Her industry areas of expertise include individuals, retail, physicians and medical practices, and various other industries. Gianna was hired as an intern in 2010 through the Junior Achievement of Central New York Young Entrepreneur Program during her high school career. She went on to win the Junior Achievement of Central New York Scholarship to Syracuse University where she earned a Master in Accounting and Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Syracuse University, Martin J. Whitman School of Management. Gianna is a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Katie A. Kaim, CPA to Tax Manager. Katie joined the accounting firm in 2021. Her areas of practice include tax return preparation for individuals, corporations, partnerships, as well as audit and attest engagements, financial statement preparation, and bookkeeping. Her industry areas of expertise include individuals, manufacturing and retail distribution, physicians and medical practice groups, not-for-profit organizations, construction and real estate, and employee benefit plans. Katie is a graduate of Binghamton University, State University of New York School of Management with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. She is a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Southern Tier Chapter of NextGen CPAs.
Matthew J. Poteralski, CPA to Tax Supervisor. Matt joined the accounting firm in 2021. He is responsible for the preparation of income tax returns for individuals, corporate tax return preparation, payroll and sales tax return preparation, financial statement preparation and bookkeeping for businesses and individuals. Matt is a graduate of the State University of New York College at Oswego with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Master of Business Administration in Public Accounting.
