HELP DESK SPECIALIST
Syracuse, NY – January 2017 – Grossman St. Amour CPAs PLLC has an opening for a full-time Help Desk Specialist. This position is responsible for providing end user technology support in a professional office environment. The ability to solve problems, research and discover resolutions to technology related issues is a must. The job duties include but are not limited to:
- Installing, configuring and troubleshooting computer systems.
- Assisting end users when they need help with technology related equipment including computers, cell phones, tablets, copiers and conference room technologies.
- Knowledge of Windows Operating systems including Windows 10 and Windows 7 is a must and;
- In-depth knowledge of antivirus software products such as Kaspersky is preferred.
- The candidate must have a BA Degree in a related field with 3-5 years of on the job experience.
- Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office 2010 and know general software, hardware and networking troubleshooting techniques and experience maintaining network security protocols.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to be a team-player, and the ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies is important as well as being customer service oriented with the ability to work one-on-one with individuals.
