We are pleased to announce that Nathan E. Shaw has joined the team at Grossman St. Amour CPAs as a staff accountant in the Audit Services Group. Nate has successfully completed all parts of the CPA exam and is currently awaiting licensure.
Nathan practices in the areas of audit and attest engagements and financial statement preparation. His responsibilities include working with the firm’s not-for-profit organizations, school districts, and government and municipalities clients.
Nate is a graduate of the State University of New York at Oswego with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Masters of Science in Accounting.
Nate is a former member of Beta Alpha Psi, the Accounting Society, and a former volunteer for Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA). He has completed the Grossman St. Amour CPAs Student Internship Program.
When asked what drew him to the accounting profession, Nate replied, “The profession’s stability, as everyone needs an accountant, and I enjoy being able to see how various companies in a wide array of industries operate financially.
Nate is a resident of Oswego, New York.
