Mark joined the firm’s audit group in 2003 as a Staff Accountant, was promoted to Manager in 2008 and to Senior Manager in 2012. He is a Certified Public Accountant in New York State and a Certified Fraud Examiner. His areas of practice include attest engagements, financial statement preparation, and internal control review. He works with fire districts, public school districts, governmental entities and municipalities, retail and distribution, and not-for-profit organizations. Mark is a graduate of Le Moyne College and Leadership Greater Syracuse.
Mark currently serves as the Treasurer of the Food Bank of Central New York, is the immediate past President of the Syracuse Chapter of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, and a past member of the Le Moyne College Division of Management Advisory Board. Mark is a resident of East Syracuse, New York.
Mark has presented on audit topics such as “Is Your School District Effectively Managing Taxpayer Dollars? How to Use Financial Audits as a Measuring Stick“, and “Simplifying Non-Profit Organization (NPO) Financial Statements“.
