Mike has been with Grossman St. Amour CPAs since October 2009. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the States of New York and Pennsylvania.
Mike practices in the areas of audit and attest engagements, financial statement preparation, internal control review and fraud examination and prevention. His audit experience includes government, medical practices, manufacturing, higher education, insurance, public school districts, for profit and not-for-profit organizations. Mike also engages in special agreed upon attest services.
Mike previously obtained 15 years of public accounting experience in the audit and business advisory services practices of a large, international public accounting firm. He is a member of the Government Audit Quality Center of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Mike is a Certified Information Technology Professional (CITP), a designation credentialed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. This designation sets Mike apart as a CPA who can bridge between business and technology while meeting the strict requirements for a CPA license as well as additional training and experience in IT assurance, IT risks, data analytics, security and privacy, business solutions and emerging IT trends. Mike performs Service Organization Control (SOC) Reports and related information assurance engagements.
